Each year the Australian Training Awards recognises the achievements and contributions that apprentices, trainees, students, businesses and registered training organisations have made to the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Winners from each state, across various categories, attend the event to compete for the national title.

Nominations are now open for all Direct Entry categories.

Direct entry categories can be found here. Applications close Tuesday 31 May 2016. These categories do not require the finalists to win at state-level – nominations are made directly to the Australian Training Awards.

Nominations are also now open for the following state-level awards.
